Using iTunes for Internet playback

iTunes can play many of the multimedia audio files available on the Internet. iTunes can automatically open and play the files it supports whenever you click a link or download a file.

To set iTunes as your default sound application: In iTunes, choose Preferences from the iTunes application menu. In the General tab, click the Set button next to "Use iTunes for Internet Playback."
